Along Thailand's border we come across a series of issues, from the Burmese refugee camps along the border with Myanmar with thousands of refugees, neglected hill tribes like the Akhas who not so long ago were involved in the illegal opium production of the Golden Triangle in the north, the Muslim insurgency in the south provinces near Malaysia and Cazinos in the no-man's-land between Thailand and Cambodia where mainly Thai gamblers go as gambling is illegal in Thailand. This photographic journey meets the people who live in those places and offers a glimpse in their everyday lives.
